RECIPE BOOK
A scene from the kitchen in the wing. At midday Thanksgiving, 2004, Charlotte is almost ready to call, "Ring the dinner bell." Out the window are bird-feeders and the estuary. One cabinet is open to the coffee mugs and another to spices.
Charlotte first assembled a recipe book in 1987. An expanded printed version was published in 1995. The initial purpose of this website was to give access to a corrected version of the book together with newly added recipes.

Ed sometimes cooks, too. He bakes bread every Wednesday, 2 loaves. He also cooks dinner on Wednesday. He is in charge of kitchen cleanup.
