Interests

Interests

Our main interest is family. But there are other areas of life that involve our time and attention.

Books - Both of us are readers, sometimes avidly so. Click on books to see some of the books which one or both of us have read in the past months.
Garden - Charlotte spends a lot of time making the garden beautiful. Ed helps by pushing the barrow.

Bridge - Ed regularly plays bridge on the internet. He plays on OK Bridge under the pseudonym of abbot2. You can go to the website, click on 'Terms of Membership', and play with Ed or with 3000 others.
Here is a photo of Ed at 5:00 pm most any afternoon. From right to left you see: monitor-keyboard-mouse, scotch on ice with mixed nuts, sheets showing the conventions with today's partner.

Birds - Charlotte has a bird-watching paradise from our living room window. In addition, she visits bird sanctuaries when she travels.
In the photo she is filling the squirrel-proof sunflower seed feeder. To the left is a suet feeder.

In the background in the rose hedge which is a haven for the little birds; the estuary which hosts ducks and shorebirds; the salt water with gulls and sea birds.

Web site - We now have a new toy. Every few weeks we change something:
- a new recipe,
- some new pictures,
- some different colors and graphics.
